World Radio Player — Support

Internet radio from around the world, on your iPhone and in CarPlay.

Support requests can be sent to support@goncharuk.info. Telling us which station and which country it is listed under helps a lot, since most playback problems turn out to be specific to one broadcaster.

Common questions

A station will not play.

Stations are run independently by the broadcasters themselves, and any one of them can go offline, move its stream address or limit how many listeners connect at once. If a station fails repeatedly while others play normally, the station is almost certainly the cause rather than the app. Send us its name and we will look at what the catalog lists for it.

A station shows the wrong name, logo or country.

Station details come from the Radio Browser community catalog, which anyone can edit. If an entry is wrong, it can be corrected at radio-browser.info and the change reaches the app within a few days.

No song title appears while a station plays.

Song titles are published by the station, not by the app. Many stations publish nothing at all, and for those the station name on the title line is the correct and final answer. Stations that do publish titles usually show them within a few seconds of a track starting.

My favorites are in the wrong order.

Favorites are never sorted automatically. The order you arrange them in on the phone, by dragging, is the order the next and previous buttons follow in the car.

The app does not appear in my car.

CarPlay shows apps once the phone is connected and unlocked. If it is missing, check that CarPlay is enabled for the app in the iPhone Settings app under General, then CarPlay, then your vehicle, where the app list can be edited.
